Thomas Kurz with his
Unbreakable Umbrella on an airplane. Whenever he travels he takes it with him and he has
never had anyone question him about it.
The Unbreakable Umbrella works just as well as a very sturdy
walking stick or cane but does not make you look funny or feel awkward. Whacks just as
strong as a steel pipe but it weighs only 1 lb. and 8.6 oz. (700 g).
Legal to carry everywhere
Never raises suspicions
Does not make you look silly (no strange looks if carried by an
able-bodied person)
Our Unbreakable Umbrella has no unusual parts, no more metal than an
average umbrella, it does not arouse suspicion, can be carried legally everywhere where
any weapons are prohibited, unlike a walking stick it does not cause strange looks if
carried by an able-bodied person, and it does protect from rain (it is covered in
state-of-the-art waterproof fabric). Anyone who can use a stick for defense can use this
umbrella.
Do you know how to swing a baseball bat? Do you know how to strike with
a sturdy stick? If you do, you know all you need to know...
Do you practice such martial arts as hapkido, jodo, kendo, kali,
escrima, le baton or la canne? Do you practice with Chinese weapons or Indian weapons?
Then you know even more... and you can truly appreciate this Unbreakable Umbrella.
Our Unbreakable Umbrellas are handcrafted from
highest quality materials. Unbreakable Umbrella frames are warranted not to break under
normal use. This warranty does not cover damage caused by abuse or accident, nor does it
cover fabric.
Should the frame of this umbrella break under normal use (whatever is
normal for the strongest walking stick and an umbrella, of course)
within two years
of the date of original purchase, please send it to Never-Thought-of-It Enterprises, P.O. Box
335, Island Pond, VT 05846. Please include your original sales receipt, your address,
phone number, description of defect, and $15.00 for shipping.
Never-Thought-of-It Enterprises will repair or replace the umbrella at its discretion.
Our warranty doesn't cover fabric damage (unless the fabric is
defective) because even the highest quality umbrella fabric cannot be guaranteed to
withstand abrasive forces occurring at hard impact between wiring of the frame and the
stricken object. Our Unbreakable Umbrella is for defending against elements (in every
meaning of the word) and not for clowning. It is covered in a high-quality waterproof
fabric, not in abrasion proof or slash proof fabric, because it has to look, weigh,
and work like a normal umbrella, so do not expect this fabric to be undamaged if you
hit heavy bags, baseball bats, and such things with it.
MSN Tech&Gadgets “This could be the only brolly you ever need. Not only is it strong enough to
support the weight of a fully-grown man, it can also be used as a self-defence weapon.
“When wielded with appropriate force it can strike with the power of a
steel pipe, and has even become a weapon of choice for the personal security guards of the
president of the Philippines. It will keep the rain off, too.”—MSN Tech&Gadgets, February 1, 2011.
“A peculiar mix of genteel elegance and chilling weaponry.”—Gizmag Emerging
Technology Magazine, October 10, 2010 issue.

“Tactically discreet ... flies well under the radar ... can cause some
serious damage ... very useful for those with little or no formal self-defense
training.... If you are on the hunt for a tool which does not bring any unwanted
attention, then give the Unbreakable Walking-Stick Umbrella a serious look. Plus you get a
great umbrella as well." H. EDC

“When I first saw this `Unbreakable Umbrella'
I thought, `Is this guy for real?'
Now that I've thoroughly studied this product, I'm pretty sure he is NOT screwing around.
This is just a GREAT idea. I can't wait to lay into my heavy bag with one of these!”

“Your product is simple and effective as we saw in your video. I can
carry it everywhere. Many other agencies wanted to know where they could purchase this
umbrella.”
“Our FMA training teaches us to be able to use items from everyday
life. An umbrella obviously resembles a stick, but the simple fact is that all the
umbrellas we've seen are too flimsy for most serious purposes. THIS ONE MEASURES
UP. To confirm the claims made at self-defense.info I
have put it through full power two-handed baseball bat swings at a heavy bag (I didn't
bother to stand on mine though). The impact generated was impressive and the umbrella
still readily opened with the push of a button. We think this umbrella measures up as a
worthy self-defense tool--and as an umbrella too. Woof!”
“The umbrella weighs less than two pounds, and is as strong as they
claim. Besides being an excellent impact weapon, it is also an excellent umbrella. Ours by
chance arrived on a day when there was a strong wind advisory, and we were not able to
make it turn inside out, in spite of our best efforts.
“If you need to carry an impact weapon, but are not in a position to
carry either a baton or a cane, we strongly recommend the Unbreakable Umbrella. If you are
merely looking for one of the best umbrellas available, we strongly recommend the
Unbreakable Umbrella.”
“I would like to take a moment to tell you how happy I am with my new
umbrella. Having been a martial artist for over 30 years I have always wished to find a
umbrella that could stand the strain of being used in a true self-defense situation. Your
umbrella has answered that call and more! Thank you very much.”
